Ora Gold: Grade is King at Crown Prince deposit!

Ora Gold Chief Executive Officer Alex Passmore on 3AW & 6PR on Bulls N' Bears Report

Listen to ASX-listed Ora Gold CEO Alex Passmore talk to Matt Birney on the Bulls N’ Bears Report about Ora’s exceptional drill results near surface, at 100m and at depth at its Crown Prince prospect within the company’s Garden Gully project in WA – and all have both grade and length. Some parts of Garden Gully were historically mined at an ounce to the tonne gold.

Ora Gold is exploring for gold and base metals on the eastern side of the Abbots greenstone belt near Meekatharra. The company’s flagship project known as Garden Gully boasts multiple gold prospects scattered across its 217 square kms of tenure. Notably the area is also littered with historic workings that were mined at eye-watering grades and recently, Ora’s Crown Prince prospect showed grade is still king at Garden Gully after a very successful drill campaign.

Matt Birney - Welcome to Bulls N' Bears brought to you today by gold explorer, Ora Gold.

Matt Birney - ASX code - OAU

Matt Birney - I'm Matt Birney and I'm joined now by the CEO of Ora Gold, Alex Passmore.

Matt Birney - Hi Alex

Alex Passmore - Hi there Matt

Matt Birney - Okay so Ora Gold is exploring for gold and base metals on the eastern side of the Abbots greenstone belt near Meekatharra.

Matt Birney - The company’s flagship project known as  Garden Gully boasts multiple gold prospects scattered across its 217 square km of tenure.

Matt Birney - Notably the area is also littered with historic workings that were mined at eye-watering grades and recently, Ora’s Crown Prince prospect showed grade is still king at Garden Gully after a very successful drill campaign.

Matt Birney - Okay Alex hit me with the best recent drill numbers from your Crown Prince prospect at Garden Gully.

Alex Passmore - Yeah sure Matt, last week we announced 21 meters of 11 grams from 113 meters which was a great result from this latest program.

Alex Passmore - And that's following up some really good shallow high grades as well, so at that sort of depth, we're seeing a continuous high-grade ore body which is really good.

Matt Birney - Now as best I can tell the mineralisation at Crown Prince starts reasonably close to surface too. What are your best surface or close-to-surface numbers from Crown Prince at the moment?

Alex Passmore - It does and it's, you know, very good width at surface so 23 meters at 8.5 grams from 22 meters is the sort of grade that we see and that also includes you know some very high-grade zones.

Alex Passmore - So 17 meters at 10.7 from 28 meters so you know we're looking forward to what that might look like in an open pit scenario.

Matt Birney - Now this thing looks like it's still going at depth is that right?

Alex Passmore - It is. So very much open at depth. The deepest hole that's in this field is only down to 259 meters so you know eight meters at 22 grams is the deepest intersection that we have.

Alex Passmore - Now you know other mines in other deposits in the area extend down to you know well over a kilometre in depth, so you know we can expect to see something similar here we believe.

Matt Birney - How many gold targets in total have you got across this project?

Alex Passmore - So we've got several but there's three advance projects and they're all on granted mining leases and have a lot of approvals you know ready to go.

Alex Passmore - The Abbots project is a key one for us, Crown Prince and then Lydia, so Abbots was historically mined at about an ounce per tonne that's the sort of grades that we're seeing.

Matt Birney - So what's the total resource of Garden Gully now?

Alex Passmore - So there's a modest resource at the moment of half a million tonnes at 3.6 grams for 55,000 ounces and that's all in an open pit. We expect that to grow strongly following this program.

Matt Birney - Alex Passmore from Ora Gold.

Matt Birney - Thanks for joining me on Bulls N' Bears and remember we're only here to give you information not advice but you should of course seek independently.

Matt Birney - I'm Matt Birney and this is Bulls N' Bears.
