A mammoth lithium drill hit near Roebourne sent a neighbouring explorer’s share price flying last week, while a lithium processing technology company caught the eye of a mining juggernaut.

FLASHPOINT - TRANSCRIPT

Tim - But first here's Matt Birney with the ASX Runners of the Week.

Tim - Thanks to Liquidity, for sophisticated investors.

Matt Birney - Thanks Tim,

Matt Birney - Well, the annual diggers and dealers swim through was on this week in Kalgoorlie where both punters and prospectors regaled each other with plenty of tall stories.

Matt Birney - Azure Minerals wowed the crowd with a crazy 209m lithium drill hit, that did wonders for neighbouring explorer Errawarra Resources who jumped 69 per cent to hit 19.5 cents.

Matt Birney - Lithium Australia doubled this week after mining juggernaut Chris Ellison’s Mineral Resources offered to partner with the company to develop its lithium extraction technology. Lithium Australia hitting 6.6 cents after closing out last week at just 3.3.

Matt Birney - Auris Minerals climbed 50 per cent from 1.2 to 1.8 cents after wrapping-up drilling near Meekatharra with an impressive mixed bag of gold, manganese, zinc and lead hits.

Matt Birney - And finally, Perpetual Resources hiked 68 per cent from 2.2 to 3.7 cents after picking up more ground in eastern Brazil’s revered lithium valley.

Matt Birney - There’s no sign of any lithium on that ground at this stage but this matters not – nearology is clearly still king when it comes to lithium.
